The bike has a Sturmey Archer three speed hub with a date of 95 clearly on the housing so that provides some date reference as long as the hub came on the bike originally and I think it did.

The Wald front hub has a date code of 1987. I have been trying to find when it was built, but have been able to find nothing at all, not even a mention. I know Murrays were usually cheap and inferior, but this bike is in almost new condition. after many failed attempts at resizing my photos. It does need handlebar tape replaced, but what can I say, for 15 bucks? I'll get a photo on here just as soon as I can figure out how to resize the pix. No adjustments other than the seat height. I just rinsed off the dust, cleaned and lubed all bearings and shafts, and rode it. If you can find any more about this bike, please let me know. Greased wheels and crank and it works great.She likes one speed coaster pedal brake bikes, oh well. Where is this Murray made? I found a USA one in Salvation Army for my wife for $40. They were ok bikes I do believe a friend of mine had one. Wow I remember those! I will try to find something on them later today.
